Final delinquent notice sent to 8,000 lawyers

More than 8,000 lawyers were sent a final delinquent notice late last month for nonpayment of 2006 bar dues and/or failure to submit proof of MCLE compliance.

The list of those who do not pay their fees or submit their MCLE compliance cards by June 28 will be submitted to the bar’s board of governors for conveyance to the California Supreme Court, which ultimately will suspend delinquent lawyers from the practice of law.
