Proposed amendments to rule 105 of the Rules of Procedure would shorten the time for filing an opposition to a motion in State Bar Court from 10 days to seven and would permit a moving party to file a written reply within three days of service of the opposition.

Proposed new Rule of Procedure 216.5 and amendments to rule 803 would allow a person harmed by an attorney’s conduct to submit a written statement to the State Bar Court and such a statement could be considered in proceedings under the Alternative Discipline Program.
