Manning Post, newest member of the State Bar Board
of Governors and a longtime fundraiser for Democratic Party causes, died last month after
a long illness. He was 82.
Post was appointed by Senate President Pro Tem John Burton in
December.
“Manning Post was a wonderful human being and a great servant to
the state of California,” Burton said. “His role on the state Little Hoover
Commission helped provide many recommendations to save millions of dollars for the
taxpayers of California. I was honored to appoint him to the State Bar Board of Governors.” |
