CYLA open meetings

Proposed revisions to State Bar rules regarding open/closed sessions and committee records to include the California Young Law-yers Association as an entity covered by the open meeting requirements.

Fee scaling amendments

Proposed amendments to Article I, Sec. 7.1 of the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar provide a wider range of acceptable documentation for low income fee scaling and deletes the “gross income” eligibility standard. A second modification gives members the right to request review if a scaling application is denied.
