Three American Bar Association entities are seeking nominations for awards honoring outstanding practitioners or bar associations.

The Harrison Tweed Award goes to a state or local bar association for projects to increase access to civil legal services by poor persons or criminal defense services to indigents.

Nominations are due April 1; details are online at www.abanet.org/legalservices/sclaidawd-nom.html or by calling Janice Jones at 312/988-5767.

The ABA's Juvenile Justice Center gives its annual Livingston Hall Juvenile Justice Award to attorneys who practice in the field with a high degree of skill and dedication in representing their young clients.

The nomination deadline is April 12 and information is available by e-mailing Amanda Petteruti at PetteruA@staff.abanet.org.

The Jefferson Fordham Awards honor lawyers and law firms that have achieved professional excellence in four categories of state and local government law.

The deadline is April 15; details are online at www.abanet.org/statelocal or from Jackie Baker at jbaker@staff.abanet.org.
