Proposed conflict of interest amendment


Proposed amendment to rule 3-310 of California Rules of Professional Conduct would prohibit an attorney from accepting representation of a person or entity in a litigation matter in which the attorney knows an opposing party is a client of the attorney or his law firm, unless the attorney obtains informed written consent of both clients.
