Conflict of Interest Code

Proposed revisions will conform the State Bar Board of Governors Conflict of Interest Code to the requirements of the Political Reform Act and Business and Professions Code by adding limits on gifts, honoraria and loans to the boards code, and lowering the disclosure and disqualification limits as required by Article 2.5 of the State Bar Act, Business and Professions Code §§6035-6038.

Public comment rules

Proposed revisions seek to update and simplify the bar's public comment rules by reorganizing and consolidating them, deleting those that are unnecessary, defining those subject to public comment rules and streamlining the process.

Open meeting rules
