Fee bill goes in the mail November 15
By the end of this month, all California lawyers — active and inactive — will receive their annual fee invoice from the State Bar. This year’s statement contains a number of important changes from years past.

Judge Aviva Bobb

A judge draws on her legal aid

Gayle Murphy named head of bar admissions
Veteran State Bar administrator Gayle Murphy was appointed senior executive for admissions, replacing Jerome Braun, who retired.

Young lawyer wins Jack Berman Award
Seth Levy’s “day job” and his extensive pro bono work fulfill different, but necessary, aspects of his life.
