Nonprofit legal practice

The State Bar has prepared a report in response to the California Supreme Court’s request in Frye v. Tenderloin Housing Clinic Inc., (2006) 38 Cal.4th 23, 40 Cal.Rptr.3d 221, that the State Bar study whether regulation of nonprofit legal service providers is warranted.
