Disabled woman passes July bar examination
Sara Granda, the 29-year-old quadriplegic who won the right to take the California bar exam after a ruling from the State Supreme Court, has passed the exam.
The UC-Davis law school graduate was among the 4,888 exam takers who passed and received their results last month.
“She is a fighter,” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said in a statement. “She has overcome so much in her life and today I congratulate her for once again persevering and passing the California bar exam.”
