Chief Justice Ronald George appointed six new members and reappointed two
others to the Judicial Council of California, the policy-setting agency for the state
courts. Justice Richard D. Aldrich, an associate justice of the Los Angeles-based Court
of Appeal for the Second Appellate District, Division Three, joins Superior Court judges
James Bascue (Los Angeles), Albert Dover (Nevada), Brenda Harbin-Forte (Alameda), Steven
E. Jahr (Shasta), and Ronald L. Taylor (Riverside) on the 21-member panel, along with
Commissioner David L. Haet (Solano), and Los Angeles Municipal Court administrator
Frederick K. Ohlrich. |
