| If you are members of MCLE Compliance Group 3 (last names beginning with
N - Z) and not part of an exempt group, you were required, pending an appeal to the
Supreme Court in Warden v. State Bar, to complete 36 hours of continuing legal
education by your compliance deadline, January 31, 1999. At that time, all lawyers in
Compliance Group 3 were required to certify their completion of (or exemption from) the 36
hours of CLE over the past three-year period. The compliance form appeared on page 15 of
the January 1999 issue of the California Bar Journal. |
