"Assessing the California Law of Lawyering in
Light of Recent Local, State and National Developments" is the title
of the Fifth Annual Statewide Ethics Symposium scheduled for June 16.
Co-sponsored by the State Bar's Committee on
Professional Responsibility and Conduct (COPRAC) and the
Entrepreneurial Law and Criminal Law Practice Centers of the Western
State University College of Law, Fullerton, the symposium will be held
at the law school from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
It offers an opportunity for California lawyers
to participate in an interactive program discussing the cutting edge
issues - such as conflicts of interest and the lawyer as
whistleblower - confronting the professional responsibility area.
The course offers six hours of MCLE credit and
cost to bar members is $75. The registration deadline is May 31.
More information and registration forms are
available at the bar's website: www.calbar.org
or from Audrey Hollins, 415/538-2167. |
