| John Hisserich, an associate vice president of health affairs at the
University of Southern Califor-nia, was named chair of the State Bar Committee of Bar
Examiners. The appointment by the board of governors is for a one-year term.
Hisserich has served on the committee, which administers the twice yearly bar
examination, since 1989. He is a reserve deputy sheriff and an alternate commissioner on
the California Coastal Commission.
A veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corps, Hisserich holds a bachelor's degree from
California State University, Los Angeles, and received both a master's and doctoral
degrees in public health from UCLA. |
