Tutsi, was named the best op-ed feature of the year by the Association of Opinion Page
Editors. The essay, which compared the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo to the Hutu genocide
against Rwandan Tutsis five years ago, appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle and the
California Bar Journal last spring. It questioned why the United Nations intervened in
Kosovo but did little to help in Rwanda. |
