Interim procedures

Extend application of the interim procedure re annual membership fee, chargeable and nonchargeable amounts, reduction, appeals to legislation positions taken by all State Bar committees and entities funded from the general fund.

Fee scaling amendments

Proposed amendments to Article I, Sec. 7.1 of the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar provide a wider range of acceptable documentation for low income fee scaling and deletes the “gross income” eligibility standard. A second modification gives members the right to request review if a scaling application is denied.
