One size does not fit all
I fully agree with Robert Fraser (Letters, September Bar Journal)
regarding MCLE. As a practicing lawyer since the 1940s, I have found few, if any, of the
mandated programs even mildly interesting, much less helpful to me or my clients. It is my
belief that individual problems need individual attention — one size does not fit
all. It would be very interesting to see how many of the so-called legal education
programs would survive if mandatory attendance criteria were eliminated.
