| The Association of Professional Lawyers elected Diane L. Karpman as
president at its annual meeting in August. APRL is an ABA offshoot of ethics lawyers who
defend attorneys at the nation's state bars, act as expert witnesses in legal malpractice
cases, are in-house law firm ethics partners, risk managers and ethics law professors from
throughout the nation.
Karpman, who practices in Los Angeles, is an expert in legal ethics, conducts frequent
MCLE programs, writes a monthly column for the California Bar Journal and is involved in
numerous professional organizations. |
