Michael C. Ferguson, a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and
probate law, was awarded the C. Rick Chamberlin award last month for his commitment to the
State Bar's legal specialization program. Ferguson, 56, is a past member and chair of
the advisory commission for his specialty field, past chair of the board of legal
specialization, and a current member of the ABA's standing committee on specialization.
He practices in Berkeley.
The award is named for the late C. Rick Chamberlin, chair of the board of legal
specialization from 1991-92. It honors individuals who contribute to the public awareness
of the program or who themselves further legal specialization.
Ferguson is the fourth recipient of the award. |
